About using our coffee maker pods for Older Melitta One:One and Juan Valdez pods for Juan Valdez Machines
Older Melitta machines were designed to use a smaller coffee maker pod, but our pods do work quite well in these pod coffee makers.
There is one trick to using our pods as Melitta pods or Juan Valdez pods (or any non-Melitta specific pods) with the Melitta machine: Make sure when you stuff the coffee maker pod into the pod holder that NO PART of the pod/filter sticks up over the rim of the pod holder. The rim is where the Melitta forms its airtight seal and if any filter/pod/paper is on that rim, it prevents the seal and the unit will leak. Always double check to make sure no part of the coffee maker pod is sticking over the edge. As always, if you have any trouble, please feel free to email us for assistance.
